Handmade Clothes

Journaling: Mom always made our clothes, when we were children.
At the time I didn't appreciate it, but now I know how special it was.
Because I did ballet, she also made most of my costumes.
A few weeks before our annual vacation, we would go to the material store,
look through the pattern books, choose the material and get buttons, zips, cotton, etc.
Mom also made us a new set of matching beach wear.
Then for weeks she would cut, sew and try on the clothes, until we had new clothes.

When I left home, I took my clothes on hangers, some of them were covered with scraps of material, such as Crimplene, which I have kept to this day and used in this layout.
